At the helm of our operations is Dean, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience.Dean Lamberton, the visionary behind DRL Consulting LTD, brings an extensive career spanning over four decades to his role as Project Manager and Owner. Beginning in 1980 as a certified welder, Dean advanced to become a certified Millwright in 1996. His deep-rooted passion for the industry and unwavering commitment to excellence have propelled him into significant leadership roles, including maintenance supervisor, superintendent, and manager.
Transitioning seamlessly into project management, Dean has successfully overseen major projects for leading companies in the wood industry. His expertise has been pivotal in driving client success across both the wood and oil and gas sectors. Dean's leadership and hands-on experience continue to guide DRL Consulting LTD in delivering outstanding results for its clients.

Serena Weipert
Co-Owner
Director of Administration
Serena Weipert, with over 14 years of experience in administrative management, excels in accounts payable and receivable, human resources, and health and safety management. Her continuous education and training ensure that DRL Consulting Ltd. meets the highest standards of administrative excellence.
With 5 years of operational leadership in the wood manufacturing industry, Serena effectively leads teams
and strategically achieves organizational goals. She adeptly manages change and exceeds client expectations, ensuring smooth project execution. Outside of work, Serena volunteers with local nonprofits, using her skills to give back to the community. At DRL Consulting Ltd., her leadership and commitment are key to our success.

Jesse Travis
Project Manager
Jesse Travis joined DRL Consulting Ltd. in 2023, bringing hands-on experience and a strong understanding of the oil and gas, mining, and wood manufacturing sectors. Starting his career at 17 as a fabrication shop labourer, he quickly rose to a supervisor role while earning his welding certification and honing his project management skills.
Jesse’s diverse background enables him to tackle challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Since joining DRL, he has successfully led numerous projects, showcasing his leadership and dedication to excellence. Jesse is excited to contribute to DRL’s ongoing growth and success.
Alyssa Lamberton
Safety Coordinator
Alyssa Lamberton serves as DRL Consulting Ltd.'s Safety Coordinator, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all. Her passion for health and safety began during her time as a municipal employee and led her to complete the Emergency Management and Primary Care Paramedic programs at NAIT.
Starting at DRL as a labourer, Alyssa quickly advanced to her current role after completing safety training through the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). She oversees orientations, employee training, and DRL’s Safety Management Program, while also contributing to project coordination, workforce planning, and serving as the site first aider. Alyssa’s dedication to safety and operational excellence is a key asset to DRL.
